If we finished 4th one thing being overlooked is the other advantage we'd have is not many of our players will play in the euros....not Adrian. Only one from the back four would be hinge who probably won't be first choice only maybe Payet from the midfield and none of our strikers, so we'd pretty much have a full squad to play baring injury
I'd guess a lot of the teams you wouldn't want to draw in the qualifier would have players who've just played in the euros and those players usually get extra time off or at least they'll be fucked

Finishing 4th would be superb, as would at least one Wembley appearance.
I can remember enduring two consecutive seasons were we only won 8 matches out of 38. That even tested how West Ham I am.

We are the best of the three teams gunning for 4th.
So it's up to us, we have to perform better than the other two in the home stretch - and have better luck with injuries and refereeng decisions than we've had so far. Luck always plays a part in these things.
We are also the best of the 5 teams left in the Cup. It's ours to lose.
There are only 3 teams in the Premier League whose fans are happy right now - us, Spurs and Leicester. Every other team is in various states of disappointment or crisis, including all of the so called Big Four.
But at the end of the season either Spurs or Leicester will be gutted- they are fighting for the same prize and one of them has to finish second.
I know most on here want to win the Cup but quite honestly CL football in the new 60,000 seat stadium would be an astonishing leap for a club that was a whipping boy just 18 months ago. We would be over the moon.
Whatever happenst this has been a magnificent season, the best in decades. Thankyou Slaven Bilic and the whole squad for making us all so proud.

I reckon they're having the time of their lives at the mo and would welcome a silent partner to take up the 35% not subject to taxpayer clawback but not more.

I'd love to go into the CL, or at least in with a chance by finishing 4th, but I don't fancy the EL, the Thursday/Sunday thing does my nut in.

With our current position, form, squad and run in - we are serious champions league contenders.
Its completely mental and who would have thought this a year ago but it's true.
Delighted that we're happily just going for everything.

If we did manage 4th and a cup final/win. With the new stadium, surely investors would be all over us trying to get involved/buy us?
Do you reckon G&S would consider selling up the majority share?

The higher the better for the club obviously, just wish the European cups were still as they used to be with a knock out from the off.

Bulphan, I don't agree.
Few years back, Besiktas took an absolute hammering in Europe 8-0 away at Liverpool. Years on from that, Bilic has the same club beating them.
Don't know what the future couple of seasons will be like, but I wouldn't rule out Bilic progressing the club even further.
aside from Europes real elite, Barclelona for instance, can't see us being thrashed as a matter of course at any club.

Winning the FA Cup, Spurs not winning the title, finishing in European place.

I couldn't give a fuck about the Champions League or Europa League as a competition. Bores the hell out of me in general.
Obviously want us to finish as high as possible though.

Actually they had it down to 7 days at last official count but 'Red Kens Slave' on KUMB who seems to be somewhat ITK with the LLDC reckons the new system can be changed around in 24 hours.
